SlopeShield Plus Self-Adhered
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
SlopeShield Plus SA was selected in the reroofing of MacDonough Hall, a building more than 100 years old at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Given the building’s historic significance and active campus setting, the project required a solution that could protect the existing structure while accommodating modern construction schedules. SlopeShield Plus SA allowed the roofing team to establish early dry-in conditions, helping protect the building from weather exposure throughout the reroofing process.
Designed to shed bulk water while remaining vapor permeable, SlopeShield Plus SA delivered proven durability, superior adhesion, and reliable moisture management—qualities essential when working with aging and delicate substrates. Its ability to withstand foot traffic, equipment, and changing weather conditions helped maintain momentum throughout construction. Together, these performance benefits ensured long-term protection of the roof assembly, supporting the preservation of MacDonough Hall and reinforcing SlopeShield Plus SA as a trusted solution for historic reroofing projects.
